Robert was born in the town of Grimsby, Ontario and presently resides in Whitefish, Ontario.

He is largely a self-taught artist who works almost exclusively in acrylic on board, but also dabbles in pen and ink and other media. He has painted all his life.

Robert's love of antiques and the outdoors can be readily seen in his work, but it is by no means limited to these subjects. Vanishing ways of life provide a great source of artistic inspiration.

Robert can be found working at his studio on the shores of Fairbank Lake.
